Letter from the Editor Issue 45

Greetings my friends.

It’s May now and the official beginning of Summer is right around the corner. We’re into the outdoor growing season now, so if that’s what you’re up to we all wish you good fortune with your grow. This is our Science Issue and we’re very excited to be featuring Doc’s Place International on the cover! “Doc” is Dr. Stephen Barnhill of the The Global Center of Excellence For Medical Cannabis Therapy in Negril, Jamaica. He and his team of scientists are using artificial intelligence, machine learning, clinical trials and more to develop some of the most groundbreaking new medical cannabis products you’ll find anywhere in the world, and now he’s also working with our good friends Jeff Nagel and Amber Lee Abbott. They have a sweet new line called Apollon and it’s already my new favorite brand.

Last issue we published our very first Edibles Magazine 420 Canna Crossword Puzzle. The first person every issue who fills it out correctly and posts with us tagged to instagram will win a free hat and shirt, and our official 1st Crossword Winner is: @LostAngelCity. He wins the prize for last issue but we have a brand new puzzle and brand new chance to win in this issue.

The CannaMexico World Summit is taking place in Guanajuato May 30th – 31st. It’s going to be a historic event, held at Vicente Fox’s beautiful Presidential Library and Hacienda. This is Mexico’s first cannabis conference so it’s a real honor to be invited. We’ll be doing full coverage to share with all of you at home!

We were recently invited by the lovely GG (Golnesa Gharachedaghi), from Bravo’s “Shahs of Sunset”, to attend her launch party for her new line of cannabis and cannabis infused products: WüSah. The Cold Pressed Juice was Watermelon-Pomegranate-Mint and had 10mg of CBD and 10mg of THC. So refreshing and delicious, I had three of them. Maybe we’ll be on Bravo, they were filming the party for an upcoming episode so we’ll be sure to let you know.

I’m also recommending “Cobra Kai” the new updated Karate Kid web series. It picks up 34 years after the 1st film and features William Zabke and Ralph Macchio reprising their original roles as Johnny Lawrence and Daniel Larusso. It’s touching and hilarious and great to watch when you’re super-high. The 1st couple of episodes are free, but you’ll want to use that 30 day free trial of Youtube Red to binge the whole series, and believe me, it goes fast.

As always, smile at your budtender, tip your delivery driver, and know your dose.
