More and more we are seeing unique delivery methods of cannabis infusions in the edible marketplace. Clean Healing has come out with the first infused marinara sauce. This made from scratch pasta / marinara sauce has a bit of a spicy kick to it. They are one of very few edible companies that have successfully signed a contract with The Clear to infuse their products with their concentrate.
This pasta sauce has a fresh taste, full of flavor. It is very rich and complex. It has a good base, but a bit on the peppery side. It’s a thinner sauce, that is very veggie-flavored, but nicely balanced. Great if you like red pepper and spiciness.
The marinara sauce comes in 60mg, 150mg, and 500mg jars, which are conveniently color coated with a symbol on each jar denoting green for go, yellow for caution, and red for experts only.
This diverse sauce can be used as a pasta sauce, a pizza sauce, a dipping sauce, or used as an additive for flavoring. We liked the sauce so much we included it in our recipes this month (see pages 48-49).
