Letter From the Publisher - Issue 69

As summer approaches, everyone is getting ready for lake days and barbecues. It’s crazy to think that a year ago social gatherings were prohibited or frowned upon. Collectively, as a society, we have come a long way from when the pandemic started. From riots and protests to where we are now, it seems like a decade has gone by in the last two years.

It’s important to remember where you came from. It’s important to know who you are and what motivates you. It’s easy to lose sight of those things when you’re locked up in quarantine. This summer is a chance to reconnect with who you are and who you were before the pandemic.

Cannabis is something I consider to be “self-care.” When you need to relieve pain, relax, unwind, or just get some you time in, cannabis is there. I’ve always used cannabis as a mood-stabilizer and a way to deal with this very stressful cannabis industry as well.

With the Oklahoma heat and humidity coming, we’ve put together an array of recipes and ideas on how to enjoy the summer with your favorite cannabis infusions and activities.

As always, Consume Responsibly. Start low. Go Slow. Too often I hear about someone’s bad experience with edibles, making them afraid to try it again. Eating edibles is very much a trial and error process, as every human metabolizes THC differently.

If you are treating an ailment with medicinal cannabis, for something like cancer for example, edibles are the only way to get the concentrated dose needed to combat those health problems. Getting to the high dose takes time to develop a tolerance and isn’t for beginners.

Reach out to us on social media if you have any questions about cannabis. We are always happy to give guidance for those looking for information and seeking education with edibles, concentrates, flower and more.

Aside from Cannabis, another one of my great passions is music. I’m excited that shows and concerts have come back around and Oklahoma always has the best talent that comes through.

If you are looking for some cool original tunes to listen to this summer, check out my self-titled album B. Le Grand and download my songs everywhere you can download or stream music. Show some support and follow @b_le_grand on instagram.
