Letter from the Editor – The Conspiracy Issue

Greetings my friends,

July is here and we hope everyone had fun celebrating and medicating on Independence Day. The Edibles List staff was able to enjoy some infused barbecue and fireworks watching while we did dabs and smoked blunts with neighbors and new friends, just the way our forefathers wanted us to – and then it was right back to work! Last month we were in New York City for the Cannabis World Congress and it was a great time to be had. While there we visited The New Yorker Hotel to see the room where Nikola Tesla lived and kept his study and also got to spend some time in Columbus Circle checking out the Museum of Art and Design where we saw an amazing exhibit about the fashion and style of late 1960s cult hippy leaders – truly fascinating material for sure. Being from California, and living and working in Los Angeles where we’re steeped deep in a thriving and industrious cannabis culture, it’s sometimes easy to forget what it’s like out there in some of the other states still waiting on legal, medical and recreational cannabis, and it’s always an eye opening experience when you find yourself in a place like that – a stranger in a strange land..

Thankfully times are changing there too and hopefully will continue to progress in the right direction with ever our expanding Canna-Community’s help and support. Politics are crazy! Speaking of Politics, we had the opportunity to catch up with and interview former Navy Seal, Pro Wrestler, Actor and Minnesota Governor, Jesse Ventura while in NYC, who just authored the new book “The Marijuana Manifesto” and has become a very vocal advocate of medical Mary Jane. This is also “The Conspiracy Issue” and we put together a list of the Top 10 Canna-Conspiracies – some are easy to believe and at this point in history seem pretty much like the facts, and others not so much. There’s some great new products we review we discovered at the business expo in Manhattan and some sweet new and infused recipes that are perfect for this time of year, as well as all the latests in news covering Cannabis around the world.

Beginning July 17th we’ll be broadcasting “Edibles The Show” live every Monday at 4PM on Z420.TV, which means we can celebrate 4:20 every episode! Our debut show will feature special guests; comedian/musician Scout Durwood and City Councilman David Argudo, and we’ll be taste testing Anakatrina’s Edibles on the air. All episodes will be archived in a special place on our website, so check it out when you can.

There’s also still time for possible modifications to be made to the Proposed Medical Cannabis Licensing Regulations for California. Written comments can be mailed to:
