Focus on Flower: Herbal Nature Pre-ICO in DTLA

In Downtown Los Angeles, in an area serendipitously known as the “Flower District”, you’ll find an adorably charming Pre-ICO collective called Herbal Nature, and it’s becoming a local favorite medication destination of mine. I stopped by on 4/20 and they gave me free tickets to see “Half Baked” at the Wiltern Theater. There’s a great selection of edibles, vapes, drinks, concentrates and more – at very reasonable prices, but this is all about the flower! We got a nice flight of strains to taste test from our good friend Karla, the Buyer and Marketing Director, and are very excited to share the results of these thoroughly enjoyable buds!

Sublime – Sativa: This strain had some very energizing effects with a fruit flavored aftertaste. We rolled it up into some nice blunts and felt incredibly creative afterward and were chatting rapidly about Ancient Aliens and Antarctica for a few hours. It was fluffy green weed and was easy to play with – definitely did exactly what we were wanting and expecting from a Sativa.

Purple Wreck – Indica: PW is the offspring of two very popular strains, Purple Urkle and Trainwreck and it is very much an Indica. We sank deep into the couch after smoking a few bowls and dreamily watched multiple episodes of GLOW (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling) on Netflix while we giggled with heavy smiley eyelids – classic.

Dream Queen – Hybrid: a Sativa-dominant hybrid cross of two much loved strains, Blue Dream and Space Queen (which is a cross of Romulan and Cinderella 99). Dream Queen has pineapple candy undertones and keeps you nicely centered – good for socializing or being meditative, this strain seemed to easily adapt with whatever direction we seemed to go. Very reliable while also inspiring. We rolled the Queen into joints using natural hemp papers and she burned like a champ.

Located at 837 South Los Angeles Street, with very convenient parking located in the back in between 8th and Main Street right by the rear entrance to the clinic. You can even press your own Rosin inside with any flower donation. Keep up with their daily specials, patient appreciation days and other events by joining their Facebook page: @HerbalNatureDTLA.
