Pot Stocks & Stocked Pots: Pasha Brands & Maple Bacon Sweet Potato Soup

Pasha Brands
I’ve been hearing a whole lot lately about Pasha Brands. So this pot stock is a little more of a “coming soon”. They’re one of Canada’s top revenue producing cannabis companies, and soon they’ll be listing on the CSE (Canadian Stock Exchange) with 160M shares available. Not long after that, Pasha will list on the FWB (The Frankfurt Stock Exchange) and then the NYSE (New York Stock Exchange), solidifying themselves as a global company. Pasha is a vertically integrated craft brand As a final or late stage applicant, Pasha’s subsidiary, BC Craft Supply Co. Ltd. is developing a craft cannabis campus which will include a Standard Cultivation Nursery, Standard Processing Facility and an Analytical Testing laboratory. It really does all sound pretty exciting.

Once they’re fully licensed, BC Craft Supply will assist craft growers in obtaining security clearance and licensing to grow as micro cultivators, specializing in education and compliance to bring growers into the regulated cannabis supply market. Pasha Brands acquired a number of once illicit brands worth a combined $50M in revenue, to help small producers enter the newly legal marketplace in Canada.

And the beautiful country of Canada was the inspiration for this months infused soup recipe: Maple Bacon Sweet Potato Soup! Loaded with good carbs, protein and THC, this brilliantly delicious concoction is a perfect comfort food that super energizes and replenishes the system at the same time. Enjoy, invest, consume and have a good time.

Ingredients:
3 strips bacon, 2 tablespoons maple syrup and more for brushing onto bacon, 2 tablespoons of cannabis butter (we recommend Mystery Baking Company), ½ a yellow onion diced, 2 lbs sweet potatoes, ¼ tablespoon cinnamon, ¼ teaspoon nutmeg, ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper, salt and pepper to taste, 1 cup free range organic chicken broth.

Directions:
Lay 3 slices of bacon on a greased pan. Bake for 20 minutes at 400°F (200°C), flip once halfway through. Dab off any extra oil and brush maple syrup on both sides of the bacon. Bake for an additional 3-5 minutes (until the bacon is crispy). Cut the bacon into small pieces and set aside for garnishing the soup later. Melt 1 Tbsp. of the cannabis butter. Add in the onion, stir, and cook on medium heat until fragrant. Add in the sweet potatoes, chicken broth, and spices. Cover and bring to a boil. Let simmer for 15-20 minutes until the potatoes have softened. Add 2 tbsp of maple syrup and stir. Then transfer to a blender and blend in batches with remaining cannabis butter until smooth and well-combined. Serve up and garnish with heavy cream (optional), the maple bacon, and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
