On June 19th, a new event comes to Los Angeles, WeedCon West, a two day B2B education and networking expo. The event will feature distributors, brands and farms with specialty areas including a Health and Wellness Area, Farmers Market and A Taste of Cannabis.
Edible activities will include cannabis cooking demonstrations, infused tasting area, a canna-bites dispensary luncheon and the WeedCon Cup competition. They are also including a competition awarding cannabis products, with judges that include singer/songwriter, David Crosby and Michelin Chef Michael Magallanes Founder of The Opulent Chef among others.
The Canna-bites Dispensary Buyers Luncheon will be put on by Chef Rudy Sta Ana (aka Chef Slip Fantabulas) owner and founder of Cannabis Catered Events and administrator for the Cannabis Chefs Union California Division. The Tasting luncheon will include 4-5 chef stations with multiple delicacies including Chef Rudy Sta Ana’s signature dishes – Tom Yum Noodles With Braised Pork Belly and Elote Pizza (Mexican street corn pizza).
Chef Slip Fantabulas travels nationally and internationally preparing delectable delights of cannabis creativity for his clients. Chef Slip Fantabulas also caters for Tommy Chong (Chong’s Choice).

In addition to David Crosby being a judge and presenter, who is a Grammy award-winner, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and founding member of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and The Byrds, Mr. Crosby will also participate in a private pairing dinner to raise funds for the sponsored charity, Safety Harbor Kids.
